So on the bus again to Fisherman’s Wharf, then on the ferry to Sausalito vis Angel Island and Tiburon.
At the souvenir shop on the pier, $1m note fridge magnets with Trump’s face on them, along with toilet paper, talking birthday cards with his voice and mock bullet key rings with names on one side and ‘the right to bear arms’ on the other. It’s a strange world.
On the ferry I met a nice couple who were driving from San Diego to British Colombia and taking 6 weeks to do it. They very kindly bought me lunch. We got to ‘who is worse, our president or your prime minister?’ in the first 10 minutes – before the Supreme Court judgement and the possible impeachment news was out.
Being on a boat going past the Golden Gate Bridge brings the news that the selfie stick is not dead!

I have looked it up and it doesn’t seem to be a common problem. The only thing I can think of is that your Wi-fi connection isn’t strong enough to download them

Great weather for this sort of sight-seeing. Somehow the prison doesn’t look as big against the rock as it seems in the movies.
