In answer to Helen’s questions, I passed out because it was 2am at home! Means I was awake at 2am here but at least I slept. The breakfast casino was the one in the hotel I am staying in. There were people at the tables at 7am.

Have been for a wander around Las Vegas this morning. To the Bellagio, Caesar’s Palace and the Venetian. Much much money spent on providing air conditioning, a wide variety of ways to lose money and many food outlets. Also expensive decorations – especially in the Bellagio. On first glance that appears to be all there is, but, at street level, there are bars, (all with gambling), homeless people and many many cars. This is not to mention the small army of cleaners, croupiers, reception staff etc who presumably have to keep going 24 hours a day. I will have to look up some other interesting places to go.
