This is the Wawona Hotel. (https://www.travelyosemite.com/lodging/wawona-hotel). First opened in 1876 and now a scheduled ancient monument. Still has original plumbing and electric wiring (eek!).

Gorgeous – If it was further south, I’d be hearing a buzz of insects, but I’m imagining a fair degree of heat. I have to admit I never quite got used to US wiring – those two pin plugs always made me nervous. *g*
