Australia continued

Well today I hung about with the cat for a bit and then went down to talk to some people at the Stretching Lab. This is a concept I have not heard of in the UK. You do stretching and yoga type stuff but they move you rather than you moving yourself. Some people apparently swear by it and some of Dave’s footballers have been. I have an appointment on Thursday.

After that I went for coffee with Dave and some of his footballers – coincidence as they were already there. Took some photos of the beach.

This afternoon Dave and I (Rachael was at work) went to watch pelicans being fed (and had an ice cream).

Then to Norah Head to the lighthouse. The sky is very overcast because of the fires – still 150 going apparently – and got more murky as the day went on. We had wine on the beach!

I am updating this post because there is not a lot to say. The air quality is now equivalent to smoking 25 cigarettes a day and the nearest out of control bush fire is 32km away according to the cheery ‘Fires near me’ app.

Thought you might like this.

  1. Maybe my imagination, but everything looks relaxed, yourself included. I suppose that the contrast with an organised tour and planes to catch, etc., is very pleasant. I have to admit I’m wondering about Dave’s luminous blue ice-cream – I’m thinking blueberry or even bubblegum.
