Yesterday (Sunday), Peter and Elly, Dave’s parents, very kindly drove me from their house in Canberra to my Airbnb flat on Bondi Beach before going on to Terrigal. No pictures as it was a road I had been down before and the air quality and. visibility were awful for almost the whole journey.

Today it was cooler and windier and clearer – and this evening it rained! Of course I had put washing on the balcony, but nonetheless……
Bondi is what you would expect – surfers, young persons in skimpy leisure wear and a lot of people photographing themselves next to the sign. I have not done a lot today – knackered. Will try to do better tomorrow.
Tuesday 7th
Again, not a very energetic day. Went to Sydney on the bus, walked round the Botanical Gardens for a bit (without coughing this time) and then went to the pictures to see Little Women. Lovely lovely film.

Great colours on the buildings – they always look better in sunlight. You couldn’t really go all that way and not visit Bondi. I expect you to acquire a neon t-shirt with a suitably slogan.

Little Women will be on my 📀 list. Hoping to see The 🃏 on Thursday evening. Also enjoying Dracular on BBC. How annoying! My tablet presumes I want a little pic instead of words grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, machines grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
