The family visit Brownsea Island

Unfortunately I was not able to because they do not allow dogs. This means that the dog and I were able to chill out on one of the hotel’s many sofas before taking the bus to Sandbanks for lunch.

The dog has decided that the hotel is part of her territory. This may have something to do with all the staff and most of the guests making a fuss of her every time they meet. This also means that, whilst chilling, she leaps off the sofa barking every time another dog comes in sight.

Lunch in Sandbanks admiring the Range Rovers (Mercedes, Porsche etc) and a visit to the beach.

The tiny white spot in the middle distance is a small white dog energetically digging holes. Madame does not concern herself with such things.

It was a shame the heavy rain appeared 15 minutes before the bus did and that there was no bus shelter on our side of the road.

  1. Now you know why they were the pets of empresses – a natural affinity to the high life…you realise that having started with Sandbanks, Southend isn’t going to cut it…*g*
