This is Corbridge – a delightful (and rich) town on the Tyne between Hexham and Newcastle. Lunch and shopping – always a good combination.



On the watershed between Northumberland and Cumbria.


Most of the land around in those pictures is privately owned grouse moor – the rest is sheep grazed fell.
Not somewhere I know much about, so thanks for this. Sorry I haven’t been keeping up – down with Covid for 3 weeks, resurfacing now. Managed to avoid Mother catching it by not breathing out when I was in the same room. Hope that Dolly is enjoying her travels.
