And off we go again….

To Australia. Owing to knees that are feeling their age and, thanks to the kind offices of my parents leaving me some money, I am flying business class. This is an ENTIRELY new experience.

Firstly, this large and shiny car turned up to collect me. We drove to Heathrow in much comfort – apart from the almost inevitable smell of perfumed cleaning chemicals.
Fast tracked through security, I am now in the lounge. There is free food and drink, with wine, coffee and all the trimmings.
And dinner.

I shall tell you all about the comfort on the aeroplane when I am in another lounge in Dubai tomorrow morning. Good night.
